#THINGS LIKE ALCHEMY VST UPDATE#
I've seen pretty much every YouTube video going for the KK solution, and it's interesting that in one of these following the 1.5 update, NI state quite clearly ".with version 1.5 featuring full vst support, Komplete Kontrol gives you complete access to your entire virtual instrument collection.", yet I can't find a single video or knowledge base article that shows me how I can access 3rd Party VSTs in this way (obviously I fully appreciate that this statement from NI could be widely open to interpretation, but a previous support ticket I raised prior to the 1.5 update hinted that the update would bring me what I was after). I think I've read that Maschine can do this already.I'm not sure if that means this makes a future update more likely, or whether I should just buy Maschine and a cheap MIDI controller keyboard, or should I just go for the AKAI Advance? (I would add that my strong preference is the Komplete Kontrol solution). If not, does anyone know / have an idea of whether this is likely for a future update? Is this possible now (with v1.5)? (without having to manually save custom presets).
#THINGS LIKE ALCHEMY VST SOFTWARE#
I understand I won't have the 'deep integration' of NKS no light guide, no tagging (perhaps) etc., and I know I can create custom templates for tweaking synths - but it's browsing / selecting 3rd Party VSTs that interests me most. Operating as a VST or Audio Units plug-in and going way beyond Cameleon, Alchemy not only features additive synthesis, but also spectral and granular synthesis and resynthesis, and sample import, along with the more typical virtual analogue engine found in most other software synths (although this one offers up to 600 voices and can be used in unison mode for the fattest sounds imaginable). What I'd like to do, is to be able to 'catalogue' all of the presets from such VSTs, and browse / select presets - straight from the Kontrol keyboard - just like I can with NKS VSTs. Along with them, they have a huge list of free stuff like free drum kits, free presets etc. They sell all of these stuff on their website. They have a wide range of drum and melody samples for music makers. Camel Audio Alchemy Player, reFX Nexus (the original) etc.), hence there will be no 'NKS' version of these VSTs in the future. Wave Alchemy is one of the biggest drum and sample seller on the internet. I have a number of 3rd party VSTs that are no longer maintained by the developers (e.g.

I'm a prospective Komplete Kontrol S61 buyer, and I wonder if anyone (with v1.5) could enlighten me in terms of what Komplete Kontrol can / can't do in terms of preset selection of 3rd Party VSTs (apologies if this has been asked before, but I can't find anything 'concrete' about this). Tired of low quality sample libraries At Wave Alchemy we care about making high-quality, original sounds.
